I know an british guy with the last name. Do you think it's pronounced "Ice-ton" or would a british person say it differently?

The reason why I ask if a british person would pronounce it differently is because they do pronounce certain things different from how an american would pronounce it. I stayed in England for a few months so I know what I am talking about.

You really need to ask him how he pronounces it himself. How did Roosevelt say Roosevelt?

I don't think they say it differently? You're right with ice-ton.
