Do your country a service and make it a personal mission to personally see to it that at least one criminal trespasser is brought to justice and deported from our wonderful nation.
If every American would stand up and make it known that we are not going to welcome these criminals any longer, the solution would be a short time in becoming a reality.
Your thoughts please.

Well, if all 280 million americans (plus guests) were to write Congress and ask that the laws be more strictly enforced, and that things like public benefits not be extended to foreigners as enticements or sops, we'd be a lot farther along, here.

Until we treat the root cause of illegal immigration, we're just putting band-aids on it. You can deport as many people as you want, but when the next human wave spots a weakness in policy/enforcement/sees free opportunities, because of shoddy policies and politicos that tend to look down on americans(yes, that's right, to some of 'them' you're just a number, nothing more), well that's going to leave your average american watching dumbfounded while about 5 million people fly right in and have it largely handed to them.

If the government didn't want illegal immigration, it wouldn't be going on. Since they do, well, the first stop for this 'bus' needs to be Congress, so they realize that the majority of their citizens really aren't hip to the idea. Unless people speak up/speak out, no one's going to know we're dissatisfied with their legislative performance...oversight's supposed to be their job, if they're not doing it, that's a direct disservice to the public. They've used really bad oversight on the immigration issue, and others. Congress(that's the house and senate together, the bipartisan bicameral body that's supposed to be seeing to the welfare and well-being of america, not guatemala etc), has largely been a disappointment. Slow handling of things like immigration means one thing: Job opportunity in Washington! LOLOL Of course, it's not entirely their fault....the lobbyists carry a fair share of the blame on this one, lobbyists want lots of things, or at least the people that hire them do, which is why they hire the lobbyists in the first place. It can be fairly said that a portion of the controversy on illegal immigration starts and ends in washington, and involves undue influence if not outright corruption. But, seeing as how that's only ONE of Congress's multitudinous problems, let's not forget the drunken-sailor budgets, the various and sundry scandals, the general gross inefficiency, all of these combined tend to paint a rather bleak picture of what can realistically be expected. That's why I'm sort of looking forward to November, job turnover has never hurt any company, it'll be good to have some new faces in Congress, too. Some of those guys are really old and tired, and they're not on top of their game anymore, some haven't been for years...and you just can't solve problems very well unless you have a change of management once in a while, and maybe this time some people that aren't already basically part of the oil industry etc...

If Big Business didn't want illegal immigration, would it be going on? Um, 'no'. Since I don't feel like living in one large company town, I'll go ahead and say 'no mas' on it. We have separation of church and state, apparently we need separation of corporation and state, too. Let's see an air-gap in there, at least...

While I understand your point of view, then let's look at the entire issue. Are you a native American? We just legistated our country into being against the true Americans...we declared ourselves to be legal, as did the Spanish and other colonizers. Now that others want to enjoy the same shelter of freedom (remember the inscription on the Liberty Bell and the Statue of Liberty), you object! I am against illegal immigration but your viewpoint is superficial...the principles of our country are diametrically opposite to your words...you propose vigilantism, and you propose justice being placed in the hands of less than ration thought, and while you propose no judication, it is likely that it would end in violence. When do rational people begin to think?

Of course we should. America was founded on a policy of anti-immigration so naturally it would be patriotic to seek out people who come to America, usually work alot harder than us for less money, and pursue the American dream. Then we can tip over the statue of liberty and make it a bridge between Staten Island and Manhattan.

Keep thinking we are going to deport millions of immigrants. Its not like we have truckloads of ruby slippers laying around.

There are illegals all the way up here in MN and it's crazy. Where do u think the dope is coming from???? All forms of dope.

We need to get rid of them so our kids have a safe environment to grow up in people wake up they aren't just here to make a better life, they are here to destroy our lives. How else can they make themselves better? They hvae no educations so how else they going to make money? Take our jobs and sell our kids dope. Good job keep feeling sorry for them and letting them in. Hopefully every body wakes up soon and realizes it has to be us before them.

I am responsible for at least..
12-15 illegals being deported by reporting them
2 employers busted for employing illegals
more than 20 illegals fired from their jobs
Doing my part!

It's a good idea in theory, but it would never work. First of all, how would we be able to identify an "illegal?" We'll get marked as racists and stereotypers and make matters worse. Nice thought though.

Good idea but we are too "politically correct" to have a chance to accomplish such a thing. Why how dare you even think of such a rational idea lol
