Theme weddings what would yours be ie robin hood? Heavey metal? nude?
Ok this is getting reposted in marraige and relgion and singles to see different results...
But if you are getting together as in love, as its fun to be together, to express ive... and as you love seeing each other naked and feeling up and making love...
Why have a formal wedding so what theme or alternative wedding would you like or just traditional...
ie Nude wedding or couple nude like Star treks Dians Troys's culture,
Robin hood style everyone dressed up in or near a castle with a banquet and the boys jousting type games?
Roman style with or without the orgie with the bride turning up carred on a seat with vestal virgin girls (ok fake virgins) scattering flower petals in front.
Scuba diving wedding
Sky diving wedding.
Biker bash with a harely davidson parade.
Heavey metal rocker with slash like guitarist and Song like November rain or better... Hell go the whole hog and have Lordi doing the music in full custume who one the eurovision contest in h

Halloween outfits, lots of passion there...
Hippy or ravey wedding... note that covers all the theme, decore, location and where would be the location and all the guests dressed up and activities at the reception etc
These are some idea to get the ball rolling...
If you are not formal in life why have a formal wedding? ie thats miserable...
Surely its about who you are and a celebration day and about you two gwtting together so personalise it as a day to remeber and make it fun...

married/divorced here - kept it really simple; just immediate family & picnic lunch.
I make wedding dresses - have been doing so for about 30years.
Whatever form the proceeding for the day take should reflect the personalities of the couple -regardless of what any one else thinks. a friends daughter is getting married in the UK in Nov & is having a medieval theme. My daughter got married on a beach she had the long dress - but lots of guests turned up in shorts & tshirts which was what my daughter & her man wanted:- everything casual & relaxed.I have read many articles on themed weddings;- super heroes; circus;swim wear;
The important thing is that the couple can relax & enjoy their day themselves

I like Pagan weddings(hand fasting). Wearing long capes of gold and purple. Calling the quarters. The old witches in the corner keeping the rain away.

only a very personalized theme could do it for me ..
if I was to organize one I would make a counselling interview and then equate the best synthesis of both parties into a new unique whole ...
