The answer is dependent on how hard one sucks. So it's different from person to person.
Sucking -- of course -- is a developed skill. The muscles in one's cheeks need to be strong and flexible. The tongue can either dart around the tip or roll around the circumfrence -- ever searching for the desired flavor. Once arosed, the saliva that is triggered only helps make the whole process be that much better.
