you need to figure for 3, 8-ounce glasses per person. I don't have a conversion chart handy or I would know how many ounces are in a gallon. But all the entertainment books I've read say 3 8 ounce glasses is what you should be prepared to serve.

It all depends on how much will each one drink? You can put out one gallon for every ten people, give them eight ounce cups and you should have plenty.
