Question

My dad is an idiot. Well, there is a dumb dog next door and it barks and barks continuously non stop. My dad try to slove the problem by screaming at the dog and yelling at it SHUT UP!, he's doing it right now. What can i do to stop it. Oh yah the whole neighborrhodd can here it. I am so embarresed about it cause when i go to my friends house they say is that your dad screaming? Oh you shouldn't of have moved there, your dad's dumb. What can i do to slove it?

Give your dad a beer and throw the dog a bone. They will both shut up. And now you know why there is a food and drink connection here.

Try talking to the neighbor about it. Be mature and professional and try to address the problem head on. Take away the stimulus and your Dad should stop because he won't have anything to yell at. If the neighbor won't do anything, you can call the police and report a noise violation. If he still doesn't stop after that, then you can call again and they will take the dog away. The neighbor might not be happy, but he should be considerate of others, and that includes getting his dog to be quiet. Also try talking to your Dad about how it embarrasses you and maybe try to convince him to CALMLY talk to the neighbor about it. Good luck and blessed be. V-

Suggest to your dad that he should stop yelling at the dog because obviously it doesn't do anything other than probably make the dog bark even more. Tell him to talk to the neighbours.

get a recorder and tape him screaming and let him hear what he sounds like b/c maybe he doesnot know how he sounds.
