In nature, living things evolve through changes in their DNA. In an animal like a chicken, DNA from a male sperm cell and a female ovum meet and combine to form a zygote -- the first cell of a new baby chicken. This first cell divides innumerable times to form all of the cells of the complete animal. In any animal, every cell contains exactly the same DNA, and that DNA comes from the zygote.
Chickens evolved from non-chickens through small changes caused by the mixing of male and female DNA or by mutations to the DNA that produced the zygote. These changes and mutations only have an effect at the point where a new zygote is created. That is, two non-chickens mated and the DNA in their new zygote contained the mutation(s) that produced the first true chicken. That one zygote cell divided to produce the first true chicken.
Prior to that first true chicken zygote, there were only non-chickens. The zygote cell is the only place where DNA mutations could produce a new animal, and the zygote cell is housed in the chicken's egg. So, the egg must have come first.

This is another one of those things that God did to prove to evolutionists that there was no wholesale evolution. I am not in proximity to my library at the moment. However this book explains it so beautifully: www.trafford.com/04-2126. Check the site and then paste the name on either Amazon U.K or Amazon U.SA site and click Search Inside their book programme. This is one of the books they allow you to search inside for research purposes.
I am going to try as much as possible to see how much I can remember: From now to the beginning of time is past. And from now to the end of time is future. The passing of the two zones creates a transitory stage called "present." Before the vehicle of time was inserted into the clock called universe, the chicken and the egg existed together. Time made it possible for the chicken and egg to be separated. So in the transit zone of present you can find both chicken and egg simltaneously: something to that effect. I might be doing an injustice trying to explain it. However that is how I remember it.

Evolution says the EGG.
Changes come with the newborns. Newborns come from the chickens. So the egg must have came first.
Though I still think it was the rooster.

According to Creation...the chicken. This is the obvious answer. I mean, who would ever ask, "Which came first, Adam or the zygote?"
