If answer is yes, then there must be an equation linking Systolic pressure, diastolic pressure and pulse rate. Does anyone know this and what are optimum values for normal/high readings?

The only linking that I know of is for the "ball park" figure of the cardiac output.

This is computed by simple math.
Systolic - Diastolic x Heart rate = Cardiac output.

120/80 at 60 beats per minute

120/80 = 40

40 X 60bpm = 2400 cc
