PCP is a type of pnumonia only HIV patient get. His mind is gone due to this disease. and he can't move that well or even feel himself.Can he turn this around

It is possible but not probable. If his mind is gone because of this it sounds like it is sepsis. Sepsis is when an infection invades the bloodstream and infects other parts of the body as well. They are probably giving him massive doses of antibiotics via an IV.
My heart goes out to you but my suggestion would be to prepare yourself. Good luck.

PCP is pneumocystis carinii pneumonia. It can infect people with compromised immune systems like HIV positive patients, premature babies AND certain types of cancer patients. It can be treated to get the infection under control. Because the organism that causes this infection is so widespread in our environment it may not be eradicated completely.

Not likely. If your fatherinlaw has PCP, he is not doing so well.
Keep up the treatments and see what happens.
