I made an appointment to see the doctor in a few days but im worried and want to know now. I shaved my pubic hair a few months ago and afterwards i broke out with bumps. I let it grow out and didn't notice untill yesterday that a few of them turned into small warts? most of the bumps are barely visible now and look like scars. i've only had bumps where i shaved above my scroteum in the pelvic bone area up near where the bubic area ends. everything else looks normal. i've told the partner's' i've sad sex with rescently and taking appropriate action but i'm scared and anxious to know

is it possible for bumps from razor burn to turn into warts?

i appoligize if the details are confusing. Before i shaved a few months ago, i had no bumps or warts. Immediately after i shaved, i had bumps that i though were just from razor burn. The hair grew out and the bumps seemed to be healing, but i didn't pay close attention until yesterday when i trimmed the hair (i didn't shave again) some of the 'old bumps' had turned into warts.

So let me get this straight, because I am not sure I understand, you shaved your pubic area, ok, and then you noticed a few bumps, okay. Then it grew out, you didn't notice anything untill yesterday, those bumps had turned into warts? Okay, well then this is where it gets sketchy, because you say they healed, or are barely visible now? Warts do not go away on their own, even gential warts, they have to be burned or frozen off, and you did not say that you had cut them off while shaving. I think what happened is, you got razor burn, and possibly some of those pores turned into ingrown hairs, which in turn can heal and if very bad, can scar. But that's just my opinion, good for you for taking all those steps though....

honestly, I think you are fine. warts don't just randomly appear. also, worst case-scenario they are warts: warts aren't that big of a deal. there's new medications out there that will get rid of them and keep them away. also, just because you get warts doesn't necessarily mean you have hpv. a friend of mine had them once, she doesn't have hpv, and they haven't come back in 2 years. i'd say don't freak out until you talk to your doctor.

It's either skin tags or ingrown hairs. I don't think you have anything to be worried about. Let's break this down..why would worts suddenly appear after shaving, especially when you broke out in bumps after shaving? Just try to remain calm and positive. I think you're going to be fine.

Sounds to me like you just have razor burn. Try using clear deoderant on the spot where you shaved

I am no doctor, but you might just have harmless skin tags.

It sounds like the area became irritated by shaving. Don't worry too much and please, please have SAFE sex!!
