We had a secret santa present exchange at my work one year. This guy came up to me at the party and gave me a huge present wrapped in a paper bag. I thought he went all out and was about to tell him he didn't have to. I opened it up in front of everyone. It was a huge pile of old, used romance novels!!! I was 25 years old. That was so embarrassing. I quickly threw them back in the bag.I threw them away as soon as I got home.

I think that you read all of those trashy novels first before you threw them away. Come on...admit it...you were curious.
The worst Christmas present I got was a plane ticket home. My dad booked me a flight home for Christmas but it as on Christmas Eve. What made it the worst present was that the flight was delayed midway and I was stuck in an airport hotel for all of Christmas Day because there were no flights Christmas Day into my parents local airport.

The worst ever? A religious advise book. It was called Return To God. What was so embarrasing about the old novels? Or was it that you opened the present in front of everyone? Instead of trhowing them away, you could've read them and given them away. Or saved them, to give to someone else, teh following christmas party. But when my mother and I were packing to move, 2 years ago, I went through all my books, and had her get rid of some, including that one. And asked her to save some, too.

I got a ceramic birdhouse that was shaped like a straw hat and painted about 10 different bright colors from my cousin, the next year I got a miniature lawn deer. I lived in an apartment.

My dad got me a battery holder. It would of been better if he had gotten me nothing at all. He got his nephews through marriage nice watches but he gave me, his son, a battery holder.
