This doesn't sound like an STD, but you need to get tested. The fear of finding out you have an STD is much less than going through life without knowing and exposing yourself and others to harm. Just get the test to be sure and then when you have the results, you can decide how you need to react. First things first, worry about your health!

You can be tested after a couple of weeks but this test will not come out 100% accurate. You might get a false negative. You need to wait at least 6 months. Right now you can go to a clinic, try getting in contact with gay/lesbian outreach program, they are more informed about hiv and can be more helpful in case you are not gay that does not matter at all, they can tell you where you can go for a kind of hiv " first aid " treatment (the same treatment rape victims get) in case you are in the high risk level. Nowadays HIV is a disease that can be controlled and people can live productive lives, it takes some effort and it is not a day in the park but can be done. again , i highly suggest getting in touch with a gay/lesbian outreach group they can give you the help you need. they are more informed and way more caring about hiv and all the problems it comes with hiv than heterosexual community in every way possible,

Hello,

Symptoms usually are between 2-4 weeks after acute infection, but they come at once and go at once.

Take a p24 antigen test, its early within the window period ofor a p24 antigen.

Antibody are ussually detected 95% 3 weeks, some people wait till 6 weeks.

Take a test, so you'll stop worrying yourself and also reading about symptoms actually give you symptoms.

Symptoms isn't a way to diagnose infection, only a hiv test will.

Those could be symptoms of a thousand infections but not necessarily HIV. By the way, it's way too early if it's what you dread most - HIV. If you can't take your mind off the fear, go for test to clarify. Even if it's HIV, the earlier the treatment commences the better. For the diarrhea, be sure to take lots of fluid and dry cereals. If it persists for more than 3 days. please visit ER.

LOL dude you are lucky.

Why would you just meet any woman on the street and have sex with her. Thats the last thing i ever think of.

By the way i hope your armpits are not swollen. Take a test i assure you everything will be fine.

Go to somewhere like Planned Parenthood or a free clinic and get tested for every STD. It doesn't sound like HIV, the "transition" illness is flu like. However, you don't know what you could have been exposed to.

I don't think you would be having symptoms at 2 weeks if it were HIV. It is possible to display symptoms that early, but very unlikely. You can get tested at certain places for free and they have councilors right beside you.
