Earlier it was only the postmenopausal females who suffered from heart attacks. Now-a-days the problem is increasingly being seen in somewhat younger age group owing to lifestyle changes, escalating tensions in life, fat rich diets, diabetes, obesity, use of hormonal preparations, etc.

I am not exactly certain whether you are asking for a response from women or whether you are asking about heart attack in women. I will assume the latter.
In 2002 there were 6,284 deaths reported in whie women under age 45 of heart disease. 29,463 age 45-64. 178,898 age 65-84. 213,906 age 85+.
For black women 2,994 deaths under age 45. 10,507 age 46-64.
25,739 age 65-84. 17,469 85+.
Hope that helps answer your question.

In the old days, women did not seem to have heart attacks until after the menopause, and then estrogens came along and now heart attacks are the leading cause of death in women. In the early years, it would only be associated with something like a congenital lipemia, though. Ht attacks and cancer of the breast are the two diseases increased by hormone theapy.

I think that would depend on many factors. One being genetics and family history of heart disease. Another would be bad eating habits. Smoking can be a factor also.
If you do have a family history of HTN or Hyperlipidemia, Heart attack or stoke, I would not think it unreasonable to get checked by a professional at any age, especially if you are experiencing tightness or pain in you chest or heart palpitations.
Of course, I am just speaking from common sense. I have a family history of all of these factors. My mother started having mild heart attacks at the age of 62. Please check with a physician as soon as you are able.
Best of luck to you.

some women have heart problem since from their birth but during the periods age of women there are less chances of heart attack.after 45 years of age women can have heart attack , but women lookafter their family , do job, so all these tasks serve as an exercise to women so they have less chances.
women are very conscious about their diet so they have less chances of heart attack than men.

It can happen at any age, it just depends on the person.
It is only a myth that ONLY older people have heart attacks.
