I live in AR. where we normally have hummers all summer, but it has been hot and dry all over the U.S. this year, so without many wild flowers and only some feeders, which can't be enough food, how far will they go north before they come back, will they survive to come back, as I am on one of the natural pathways for them to migrate south (I have had eighty or ninty birds at a time at my feeders as they return south), will they come back through this way when they return, will the majority of the wonderful things actually survive this years heat wave?
