It has to do with heart disease because my husband has heart disease, has had several heart attacks, diabetes, does dialysis every three hours. The heat that we have recently had affects all of this. He becomes lethargic, has difficulty breathing, and must take more than normal Nitro tabs.

Call your county health department. With a doctors note you may be able to get some assistance provided you fit the income requirements.

Good Luck. My county ran out of money. :(

is it, i dont know.. i think the air conditioner controls are faulty. i thought it should be having a programmed sequence like this:

START
KEEP THE ROOM AT 20 DEG C FROM 9 PM TO 11.30 PM
KEEP THE ROOM AT 25 DEG C FROM 11.30 PM TO 1 AM
KEEP THE ROOM AT 22 DEG C FROM 1 AM TO 4 AM
SWITCH OFF AT 4 AM, AND OPEN ALL WINDOWS AND LET FRESH AIR COME IN.

... yeh the heat is bad. Try your local community action if you are a senior low income. There was 2 seniors that died from the heat I saw on the news last night.

check with your local utility company. Sometimes they have a program in the summer where they offer fans or air conditioners for those who can't afford them.
