Mushrooms are considered Fungi, some definitions considered it vegetable... If you are asking, if vegetarian take mushrooms, it all depends. For those doing regular meditations are to avoid mushrooms, as it is considered a stimulant.

It's a fungus. It has no eyes, fins, or central nervous system. It's a plant. It's very vegetarian- unless you cook it in bacon grease and stuff it with hamburger.
