i've seen a few recipes online.
i want to make lobio....i kind of remember how to make it, but not exactly.

Kidney Beans and Rice

Ingredients:
2 cans kidney beans, with juice
1 cup long grain brown rice, uncooked
2 onions, chopped
2 green bell peppers, chopped
5 red tomatoes, diced
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 teaspoons cumin
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 whole chipotle chili, dried
2 1/2 cups vegetable broth
Directions:
In a saucepan, sauté the onions, bell peppers, and garlic in about 1/4 cup of vegetable broth for about 5 minutes. Add in the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for about 45 minutes or until the rice is tender.

Serves 6.

- Lobby (Lobio) recipe -

· Ingredients
1 kg of fresh string beans.
4 tb butter.
2 c onions finely chopped.
1 green pepper, seeded and sliced.
3 tomatoes, seeded and peeled.
1 1/2 ts of dried basil.
1 egg.
1 c sour cream.
salt, black pepper.

Method
Bring in a pan 3 l of lightly salted water to boil over high heat. Drop string beans and bring back to a boil. Lower the heat and cook for 10 minutes, until the beans are tender. Drain the beans, wash them under cold water. Melt the butter in a heavy skillet set over high heat. Add the onions and green pepper, lower the heat and cook for 10 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender. Stir in the tomatoes and basil, raise the heat to high, and boil rapidly for 1-2 minutes, until most of the juices in the pan have evaporated.
Stir in the green beans and simmer until heated through.
In a mixing bowl, beat together the egg, sour cream, salt and a few grindings of black pepper. Stir in the vegetables. Serve at once.

I don't think I 've heard of this cuisine, are you talking about food from the state of Georgia?
