A WBC count of 70,000 in your blood is high and can be caused by several things - but I would guess most likely an infection or leukemia. I am not sure how anyone would know that you have 70,000 WBC around your heart - I think you must mean in your blood which is pumped by the heart. An infection or leukemia can be life threatening conditions if not treated properly. It is always best to follow the advice of your doctors. If you do not feel comfortable with them for any reason it is perfectly OK to seek the help of another doctor, and especially a specialist. A doctor that is a specialist for blood disorders like leukemia is called a Hematologist. This kind of doctor could also investigate other reasons why you have a WBC of 70,000.

There is something here i just don't understand, what do you mean around your heart? are you referring to the pericardium? or are you referring to your blood stream?

in any case 70,000 WBC are higher then what you would normally expect on both occasions, specially if you are talking about normal circulating blood, next time be a bit more specific with your question please
