Yes, I love to make and eat pulled pork. I roast a pork shoulder butt until the internal temp is 190F, let cool, pull into strands, eat a lot of it.

Here's a whole website about BBQ pork, which contains a lifetime of recipes:

Hard to beat good pork tenderloin! And bacon of course ... and if you live in the country you can get mountain oysters ... THE BEST!!!!! And ribs are yummy. It's the other white meat! Less fat than greasy chicken, etc.! People who say pork is nasty .. do they eat eggs that have come out of a chicken's BEHIND??? LOL

you can get so many varieties of items made from pork, like sausages, bacon, ham,and fresh pork pieces. in goa, a favorite tourist spot, they make goa sausages, which are made with pork meat, fat and some preservatives, used like a pickle, and lasts longer, comes handy, when the fresh variety is not available.
in india, they are trying to promote piggeries, so fresh pork is made available, and unemployed youth can start their own business. but unfortunately, the runners of this business have to depend on the demand for pork meat , from big hotels mostly, as very few individual customers opt for pork, due to miscoceptions, and wrong ideas, lack of awareness. muslims don't touch pork, hindus can't eat openly, so it's the christian population, which is the target group, limited in no.
one belief is, you get tape worms by eating pork, so people are scared to eat. but the remedy is to cook it very well, and not half-done, or medium, like beef. also the source. in u.s., you may not have this problem, and i have eaten pork at home, and in hotels, in atlanta, u.s., and found it very fresh, tasty, hygienic. for india, it might take years, before we have hygienic standards achieved for any meat markets ! sad, but true.
i cook pork vindaloo, i.e. sort of a curry, with vinegar and tomatoes, onions, and semi-thick, goes well with hot steaming plain rice. we can use pork in noodles, fried rice, or make a dry dish with boiled green peas, potato fries, onion rings, etc.
i am also very fond of all sausages, and ham, bacon. a club sandwich tastes great with ham.
