Sandra b ur an idiot.

When people ask me what I can and can't eat as a vegetarian I either tell them I don't eat anything with a face or that I don't eat anything that had a heartbeat. ( Vegetarians don't eat fish.)

I totally respect vegans and would love to be one but it takes such commitment. I am a strict veggie (since birth) and animal lover and always buy free range eggs (and organic dairy where possible) but don't quite have what it takes to cut out all animal produce (milk, cheese, yogurt, eggs, honey etc..)

Fruitarians are the ultimate veggies!! They only eat what the earth gives them ie. fruit that drops from trees but not root veg for eg. that they have to (in a sense) KILL!

A Vegan is a Vegetarian. Vegetarianism comes in all levels.

Vegans do not eat any meat, or products that come from meat. For instance, Milk because it comes from a cow. They don't eat eggs because it comes from a bird, etc.

Lacto - Ovo for instance, is a vegetarian that eats eggs and drinks milk.

Make sense?

Vegetarians do not eat meat, fish, or poultry. Vegans, in addition to being vegetarian, do not use other animal products and by-products such as eggs, dairy products, honey, leather, fur, silk, wool, cosmetics, and soaps derived from animal products

Vegans do not eat any animal products whatsoever - including milk, eggs, and even honey. Lacto-vegetarians will eat milk and cheese products; Ovo-vegetarians will eat eggs; Lacto-ovo-vegetarians eat milk and eggs.
