Soy milk is GOOD! I suggest 8th continent, Vanilla. It makes me want some just mentioning it. :-) It has about 6 to 7gm of protein per 8 oz glass. In addition, it has Iron and vitamin B12 which are also attributes of meat. OH, and it has A lot of calcium too... Did I mention that it's good?!

Proteins can be found in lots of other foods besides meat, you can eat fish, eggs, and most of all any type of bean. The more Hearty the bean, the more protein it has. Years ago people ate more beans and rice or bread then meat and they survived well. You should also make sure you take a vitamin each day, just so you dont deprive your body of anything essential it needs. Red beans and rice or black beans and yellow rice are good choices. Omlets or boiled eggs and tuna are other good choices.

Almost everything has protein so it's real hard not to get enough. Whole grain/whole wheat pastas and breads are good sources. Soya products like Boca are very good as well.
