I am an lacto-ovo vegetarian-eats dairy and egg products; no meat

I find it easy to stick to it, because there are many recipies in this world that are good. My whole family are mostly lacto-ovo vegetarian's and we are not vegetarians, because of dieting.
Every thing I personally eat (Eggs/Milk produts) are completly unharmful to animals and are from farms that do not sell /make meat.

I am a vegetarian leaning towards vegan. I choose to eliminate animal foods because I don't want to participate in the killing of animals or have someone do the dirty work of killing for me. Factory farmed animals are treated as though they are not capable of suffering. Having had pets, I know that animals feel pain, get bored, get stressed etc. I feel meat animals deserve to be treated decently. Just because I choose one animal as a pet and smother it with love doesn't mean some pig or beef cow isn't worthy of affection. Because I can't be there to decide if my meat animal is a nasty jerk who deserves to die or an interesting life form capable of amusing me- I choose not to eat meat. I am happy to live in a world where I can make the choice to exclude meat. I am a rich (relative to the rest of the world) American, I can afford to be kind to animals and still eat well.

No. Used to be vegan for 5 years though. I eat a healthy balanced diet now, lower in meat consumption than the average american. I eat organic when possible and grow a lot of veggies at home.
