Nothing from pets corner please, I can have that any day of the week.
Either something I could stuff in my pocket or ride home.

Bloody Hell, Out Of Africa, you certainly live up to your name.
Is there anything you don't eat?

A small child?? If non available, I'd go for a buffalo. They are delicious and will last you right through the winter.

What do you have in your zoo?

I live in Africa, so I've had Kudu, Springbok, Grysbok, Duiker, Ostrich, Warthog, Guinea Fowl etc, etc.

Kudu meat is quite nice, especially if you make a "potjie", which is a stew made over a wood fire.

Bush Pig can be a bit tough, but is also tasty.

Snake meat is like chicken, just a bit juicier.

Springbok makes nice Biltong, which is dried meat.

Ostrich meat goes well in Boerewors, which is a spicy sausage.

Getting quite hungry now, think I'll go have some lunch!

Have had zebra meat whilst in Africa. Very tasty. Not sure if it would be the same if it came from a zoo rather than free range though...

Monkey - but just take the eyes and brain, carefull not to squash them in your pocket on the why home. Boil and serve with peas and a good Chardonnay.

I'd go for antelope (I like venison so quite similar) or zebra.

Big cats are obviously a bit risky. Penguin may be nice but a little fatty. Rhino is too tough. Maybe giraffe? There's plenty to go around

a lion. just think about all the kinds of animals it's already scoffed so that should make an extra tasty meal. you could use the mane for a hood and it's tail for the tie on your dressing gown, so that's a versatile animal to sneak off with

Snake tastes quite nice....grab a small enough one, tie it in a knot and shove it in your pocket.

When you get home you could grill or deep fry it still knotted and it would even look presentable on the plate!

I'd go for something small and herbivorous.

But you can get most of these at pet stores.

try an elephant, a young one or a widerbeast.

Good luck

Kangaroo!
Ride it home, carry stuff in its pouch and have it for tea.
Tasty but more gamey than chicken.

Or how about some grated puffin?
