I used to donate blood regularly until I got multiple sclerosis. Because the cause for MS is not known, people who have MS cannot be blood or organ donors.

Yes - I am coordinating an American Red Cross Blood Drive for August 10 where I work. You are welcome to donate! You must be 17 years old or older, be in general good health, weigh at least 110 lbs and bring a picture ID. To schedule a donation time and to have any questions about donation answered you may call 1-800-GIVE LIFE. Blood donors are greatly needed at this time because we have had a chronic summertime shortage of blood all summer and especially needing type O blood. THANK YOU!

Donate organs? In USA you get it on your drivers license. Blood or bone marrow you can call red cross. Diabetes you call the American Diabetes Foundation. Other diseases you call their chapter near you. You can donate cars and boats to the blind or kidney foundation. You can go to your local missions. churches, good will, or salvation army to donate house ware and clothing and food. So do you donate I do.

If you want to donate blood, then you want to go to the American Red Cross website. If you want to donate money to Diabetes research, then there are two groups, the American Diabetes Association and JDRF (Juvenille Diabetes Research Foundation).
