Depends on where you have it. At the hospital ER I paid about $750. But at the Doctors office it was only $175. It will also depend on where you are I'm in the San Joaquin Valley California
A EKG will tell you if you have heart failure and how many heart attacks you have had. It tells the doctor a whole lot about your heart, that is why you should have a baseline EKG at about age 45 or younger if you are showing any signs. You can not have a stress test if you have heart failure.

EKGs are not very reliable -- it only tells you how your heart beats at that point in time. You need to do a treadmill stress test or a 24 hour monitoring.
Never pay for medical bills out of your own pocket. Your bank acount will take a dive really fast!

An EKG does only tell a very small amount of information about your heart. The cost of it depends mainly on your location. It will vary significantly. Another factor is if you are paying out of pocket or if your insurance is paying for it.

I just had one in Chicago and it was 300-400 dollars.
It depends.
EDIT: kupid guy is correct.
I also had an overnight and a stress test and it was well into $3000-4000 range for the whole battery.

If you have to pay out of pocket expect it to be about $60 from a regular Doc and $90 or more from a cardiologist
