Vegetarians cook food. Where on earth did you get that bad information? There are people who are on raw diets but the average vegetarian certainly cooks.
Vegetarians dont eat meat for various reasons. My reason is because the way the animals are raised and treated as well as the idea of chewing on dead animal flesh.
Vegans cook too. :p

Majority of vegetarians and vegans do cook their food.
For me, there are 3 primary reasons not to eat meat:
Health - it is not natural for humans to eat meat or cow’s milk. Vegans are much healthier, feel better and live longer.
Ethical – murdering animals is simply not human. The way animals are raised for mass consumption is horrifying.
Ecological – 75-95% of food intake is wasted for animal’s own metabolism, hence if we stopped farming and eating animals, we would have 3-19 times more produce available to people, we could harvest less land, produce less pollution and feed starving people on this planet.
There are absolutely no nutritional advantages to eating meat as all the nutrients that can be found in meat (along with tons of toxins and harmful stuff) are not produced by the animal itself but have to originate from a plant source anyway.
But to tell you the truth, eating a dead animal is just outright repulsive.

The raw food movement is a very small percentage of vegetarians. Most of us cook our food and eat very much like you do, only without the meat. I can't speak to the reasoning behind a raw food diet.
However, there are many reasons to become a vegetarian. They range from the ethical to the ecological to health reasons. Sorry not to be more specific, but I stepped off my soapbox after giving "the talk" to anyone who would listen in the first few years after I went veg. Suffice to say now that I choose to sustain my own life without consuming death.

I'm not a vegetarian, but my gf is. She began out of a sense of ethical responsibility towards animals. Now, she's still very ethical, but I think that she also really likes veggies, and feels is a healthier diet.
As for cooking, she doesn't really like to cook, so I do all the cooking, and I really like coming up with new things. I had no idea that there were so many yummy choices out there! so now, I just eat meat when we happen to eat out.

because all the smells intertwine even as they cook dinner and scent reliable. it really isn't any longer troublesome to make nutrients scent reliable. it really is tougher to make nutrients flavor reliable. my acquaintances are complete chinese i believe doubt they got here from u.s. yet their domicile is a complete pig sty. theirs crap they convey domicile from artwork throughout their the front backyard and reduce back backyard and it really is all damaged such issues as tables, refrigerator, washing machines, and so on.. yet sometimes even as they are cooking it smells incredibly reliable. yet i noticeably doubt it tastes that reliable. why? only walk infront of their door step and also you'll comprehend why theirs craps everywhere which include useless flora/animals decaying like fish. Im certain they don't save at a actual food market both despite the indisputable fact that the community china city and all and sundry in my state knows the china city isn;t very reliable for groceries because it really is been hardship-free to carry rats and it really is not even that tasty. that being reported do not enable the smells fool you.

I second "Peter M" he literally said exactly what I was going to.
I love the irony of the people who try to cut down on driving/wasting gas, and how some of them even have composters- yet they eat meat. I really don't think enough people know how even just cutting down on your meat intake could really help the environment.

Because we like animals and don't want to be responsible for killing millions of animals - did you have a look how chicken or cows are held? It's disgusting.
