p24 is used to detact hiv-1 and hiv-2 early after 28 days ? how accurate is this some websites says 99..8% and it is done with the anibody test

it is accurate if it is deteced early ...the antigen test can be detected as early as 6 days

It is highly unlikely that antibodies would be produced within 28 days. p24 in an antigen and can detected within days after exposure using a PCR (Polymer Chain Reaction) test. A PCR does not look for antibodies but for antigens; particles of the virus. This test is quite expensive, and I do not believe that your insurance would pay for it.

28 days is pushing it... most experts say... 3 months is the longest you have to wait. The accuracy is really quite HIGH if administered correctly. YES... all hiv test, test for the antibody response. That's really the only detection method available.

However... unless you have unprotected sex... (which everyone knows is stupid)... you really don't have to worry about contracting HIV.
