It really depends how you portion the cake.

If you have a big group, what I suggest you do is to cut the cake into smaller portions, so that everyone could get a slice / piece of it.

i would plan on at least 8-10, but depending on how big the pieces are, you could feed more.
now, do you want to "feed" them, meanin do you want to give them big pieces, or just enough to where they can say they had dessert?
