You can eat a few mint leaves or basil leaves. They will leave a fresh odour in the mouth. U could also use of the popular mouth washes available. For shiny white teeth you can brush with a pinch of Sodium bi carbonate. Drink lots of water and lime juice is also preferred because the smell comes from the stomach even after brushing and gurgling

Apart from food u just ate, an empty stomach and a dry mouth can also make your mouth smell. If u have to forego food and liquid for many hours some bacteria in the mouth multiply bec of absence of saliva. so take some fruit juice or some chewy snack if u hv to be on empty stomach.

I WOULD USUALLY slowly suck an inch cube of fresh ginger. This helps refreshens my breath and helps in proper digestion too. Late on during the day, I would just pop into my mouth some minty flavored chewing gum.
If this doesn't work then you need to see a doctor. The smell might be an intestinal infection.
