You might try using special glass sanding cloths, sand the edges of them down a bit and use special glass etching materials to turn the chips into a pattern. The chips will still be there but disguised with the pattern they won't be noticeable as chips. You can get glass etching stuff at your local craft store or on-line through a craft place if you don't have one of the big stores near you. They sell the liquids, tools, and patterns (templates you can lay right on the glass). Just choose a pattern that each chip or bulk of it will become a part of. (hint: take a piece of paper lay it over the chips and trace the shape with a pencil, lightly grey out the center of the shape and take that to the store with you so you can put the templates in the store over it to get a better idea of if it would work within the pattern.) If the chips are widely spaced apart you can do something like a bunch of little flowers all over the table covering each individual chip along with a few extras so they don't stand out as much.
You can even get creative and make your own pattern/template if the ones in the stores aren't doing anything for you. Good luck, hope this helps!

If the chips are on the edge you may be able to grind them down so as to fade into the rest of the edge,I they are anywhere else you'll have a hard job getting rid of them, I assume they are on the edge...glass does'nt chip in the middle it usually breaks. Use a small grinding machine simillar to an engraving machine, they are only about 20 quid and usually have a set of grinding bits included.
Good Luck.

yes I can what you need to do is get a bottle of jack daniels and a loisville slugger. Drink the jack then smash the hell out of your table then you won't have to deal with those pesky little chips anymore.
