You probably have an infection. If your temperature goes above 101 or if the fever lasts more than a day, go see the doctor. You could have strep throat and need antibiotics.

Most likely you have a case of strep throat. You should see your doctor immediately for an antibiotic and get something to clear any sinus drainage you may have since it irritates the throat. This is very common yet highly contageous. Do not allow close contact with you by anyone until you have spent at least 24 hours on a prescribed antibiotic.

You body temperature goes up to help you fight whatever it is that is making you sick. Try to make it uncomfortable for whatever it is in there to live there so that it will get out. Kinda like turning on the heat in the summer for a tenant that you want to leave.

You body temperature would so soar up, also you could have some other stress-related things happening to you like you heart beat faster like you are sick or something.............

your body temperature goes up in an attempt to kill whatever organism is making you sick. You feel cold with fever b/c your body is hotter than the air around you, so the air feels colder than usual.

its caused by your body attacking infection. dont let it go over 105ish for too long or you could have brain damage. drink lots of water as you will sweat and dont want to be dehydrated.
