No. The only reason that you couldn't eat cotton candy anymore was if you had a health problems (like diabetes) and you couldn't eat lots of sugar (which cotton candy is made of). Apart from that, I don't see any problem that you couldn't eat cotton candy being a 55 year old.

Dude, you're 55, eat what you like! No, that doesn't mean "You're nearly dead, what does it matter?", it means "whose opinion do you really need to care about?" Eat what you like - partridge dunked in rabbit's tears and caramel? Go nuts! Stinger-fish from the bottom of the ocean where everything looks like a butt with gils? Enjoy! Cotton candy? Get the biggest bag you can find, whack it on a stick or eat it straight in big globulous, sugar-melting handfuls. I'm 34 and already I don't care what anyone else says I'm too old for. There's every chance we walk this way but once - let's smell the roses, hit the youngsters, and eat the cotton candy while we're here :o)
