No going in the ocean with herpes is not bad. Don't even worry about transmitting in the ocean unless of course you are having unprotected sex in the water. I think there was a question on here about that a while ago. I would immediately suggest going on a Valtrex once a day plan for one year this shows a significant reduction of outbreaks in the future. Also be careful when you have a breakout things like dry your face and the rest of your body before drying your gentiles. Use a new towel for everyshower to reduce the risk of tranmission to others and other parts of your body. Wash your hands after touching yourself - for any reason - as you may carry the virus from one part to another by your hands.

No, you'll be fine. If anything like the second guy said it might dry up the sores a little if you are currently having an outbreak. But it's not going to hurt you.
For some people the salt water can actually trigger an outbreak. Jacuzzis do it for me. Literally the day after I go in a jacuzzi I will have an outbreak. Everyone reacts to different things differently.

yes. herpes is highly contagious & it spreads very easily on the patient as well as others in contact. you can enjoy surfing as regular but you will have to be extra cautious to not to spread it on you as well as others. & don't forget to apply ACIVIR cream on the infected part & also consume the same tablets.you'll soon be alright
