Whats your ideal age , to have intercourse?

I noticed alot of teens has been doing it too early , and was disappointed in our society and the fast rate in people with HIV and aids was quickly growing. And i wanted to know what you believe was the best age for young adults to have intercourse . Speak from your opinions and past experience . =)

I personally think they need 2 be at least 13 or 14 at the least because thats when real love can really hit and adults dont understand it and they just think that thats 2 yung and that we just be thinkin we're in love these days but as a 14 year old i know and i think when you really love somebody and they really love you then making love (but not just sex) is the perfect way to show how much you love that person.

You need to approach sex with a mature attitude. Don't submit to peer pressure from your friends. All this crap about adults not understanding is not true - they have been through it and would not want their children to go through any pain or difficulties. 18+ would be a good age, otherwise wait until you get married - yes I know it sounds old fashioned but you need to be careful nowadays with so many diseases out there. Once you get something it might never go - don't sacrifice your health for a few moments of pleasure.

I was raped when I was 18 otherwise I would have waited until I got married. I met my husband when I was 21. We both even had an aids test before we got married, just for our own peace of mind. Pre-cautions have to be taken.

Also the most important thing is being with the right person - you don't want to be used/abused and then dumped. In that case YOU will not be able to forgive yourself or forget the incident.

the ideal age to have intercourse is when you are ready to have kids. the only thing that is 100% effective to not get pregnant is abstinance. as to be 13 or 14 and in love... wow! i know it's been a while since i was that young so i'll give you love, sure. but ready to have sex? no, having a niece around that age i don't know a single person under 18 who is truly ready to have a child. the silly thought of "it won't happen to me" is quite ignorant in both reguards to pregnancy and std's. i didn't think i could get pregnant because my husband thought he was sterile. right now i have a 10 month old smiling up at me.

There is no perfect age but like I tell my younger cousins, If you THINK you are old enough to lay down you better be prepared to deal with whatever can happen when you do. I believe that a lot of kids these days think they know what's out there but they really don't. Its a dangerous game and kids at young ages are becoming infected with things everyday.

i agree with you 100% as far as teens giving it up too soon. ideally, i would have waited another half year than when i originally did it( lost my virginity when i was 17 1/2 ) so 18 would have been a splendid number, but if you just cant wait, 17 is good too. anything younger is just slutty no matter what the case. sex when you still cant even drive is so wrong to me

The age -as in numbers- does not really count. Because people grow in different rates. The ideal age is when you have enough knowledge and you are responsible for it.

The age when you can get married as per law.
I guess in most countries its 21 years for men and 18 years for women.
But, hey,postpone sex until after marriage and after that stay faithful to your spouse.
Even after marriage have safe sex i.e always use protection until you wanna have kids or else u'll have problems like unwanted pregnencies,abortion and all that.

16 is the age of consent in most states and I think that's a good age.
