Mixtard is a mixture of the Regular fast-acting insulin (actrapid), and the intermediate-acting insulin (NPH). It contains 70% of the NPH and 30% of the Actrapid, but i think there are different combinations with different percentages as well. The side effects are the same as any other type of insulin. But it has one disadvantage which is that it is a prefilled solution so you cannot adjust the amount of the type of insulin, e.g. if you take 10 units, that will be 7NPH, and 3Actrapid, if you use the 70/30. If you need more of the Actrapid, you will have to increase the NPH as well, because it is prefilled.

I know of someone that have diabetes and had an open wound almost 1 feet in size on the leg. Fully recovered on the wound and the sugar level back to normal after taking a product call Colostrum for about 3 months. That is not a medicine for diabetes but the good news is, doctor certify cure!
