Well here are the symptoms you get before getting a heart attack:

Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line.
You may never have the first chest pain during
the course of a heart attack.
Nausea and intense sweating
are also common symptoms.

Women should know that not every heart
attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting.

Abdominal Pain
Abdominal pain is one of the heart attack symptoms experienced by patients. They might experience pain that extends from the upper body down to the stomach area. They may also experience symptoms of heart burn.

Upper Body Pain
Some patients experience pain or discomfort in the upper body including the shoulders, neck, teeth, jaw, back, arms without experiencing any chest pain. Others experience chest pain that spreads out to the entire upper body.

Chest Pain
Patients may experience discomfort or tightness in the chest. The pain and discomfort is often described as a tight ache, squeezing, fullness, or pressure that originates in the center of the chest cavity and continues for a few minutes. The chest pain or discomfort may occur in infrequent spells.

Anxiety
Anxiety is a heart attack symptom that can easily be misinterpreted. Patients may experience feelings of helplessness, panic and dread. They are unable to identify the cause of these feelings.

Lightheadedness
In addition to chest pain and discomfort, patients also complain of dizzy spells and feeling like they are going to faint.

Nausea
Intense feelings of nausea and in some cases vomiting are also reported by heart attack sufferers.

Difficulty Breathing
Heart attack sufferers also experience shortness of breath. This symptom precedes the chest pain and discomfort. Alternatively, some patients may experience shortness of breath without any subsequent chest pain or discomfort. In response to this symptom patients resort to panting for breath or attempt to draw in deep breaths.

Sweating
Patients may break out into sudden and profuse sweating. They will also have cold and clammy skin all of a sudden as a result of this heart attack symptom.

According to the reading I have done regarding hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), the brain, when it senses that blood sugar is low, will do sometimes strange things to get the blood sugar (glucose) out of storage and into the blood stream. Adrenaline is one sure way to do this. If worrying about the possibility of a heart attack results causes you to get an adrenaline spurt, then low blood sugar is probably the cause. Low blood sugar is easily a part of pregnancy, as it is one possible result of high insulin - the biggest change that happens once an egg is fertilized.

Suggestion? In between meals (about 1/2way) go to the kitchen and get some protein, meat, a can of tuna (salmon is better) or whatever, and eat it. Also have some carbohydrate, like an apple, or some carrots/celery, and also some nuts or peanut butter. Eat at least 2 ounces of the protein. Then drink a glass of water and do something mildly active for about 30 minutes, like talking or singing to your baby. You may find your anxiety has lessened a bit. If you follow this it may help reduce your acid reflux. Borderline high blood pressure is 120/80. The 140 could be because you are anxious and goes up and down with worry and stress, but the 60 means you have a very healthy blood pressure.

Do discuss this with your doctor, however, as she/he needs to know you are worried.

To put it simply NO! There are some conditions that deal with the heart that you might be concerned about, next time when you have your doc's visit make sure he doesn't hear a murmur. It's very rare, but make sure he doesn't. Next a great deal of pregnancies cause high BP, not just because of the baby, but because of the stress. And to be honest with you, that BP is not really that high. And I would not make a big deal about it till the bottom number (diastolic pressure) is over 90! So in conclusion unless you're severly obese, with high cholosterol, severe high bp, smoke, have a history of heart disease or conditions, don't even sweat it about a heart attack.

Why don't you educate yourself about heart conditions; if you have acid reflux, you may experience pain in your chest. Next time you go to the doctor, please discuss this with him. You're really being unreasonable about dying from a heart attack and obsessing on your health. Get some help.

No, i don't think you have anything to worry about your blood pressure seems ok. As long as your Dr. is not worried about it i wouldn't worry. You can get high blood pressure while youe pregnant, but i'm sure your Dr. would let you know if it was something to worry about.

You are four months pregnant with hypertension. You need to go in and get it rechecked to make sure... Also you need a UA, etc.. to make sure you are not preeclamptic. I wouldn't worry about a heart attack so much as problems with the pregnancy.
