Just eat extra meat substitute products and nuts and stuff that'll give you protein.

If you do it right you will not have to take any vitamins. In fact you will probably be healthier than when you were a meat eater. If you really want to take a supplement try spirulina. It is a complete protein high in iron and B12, two nutrients that some vegetarians struggle with.
With that said try to stay away from processed foods, and diary products. I believe diary to be cheating and will not improve your health at all. They instead cause a myriad of health problems via among other things the mucus the diary helps to create.
Make a lot of stirfrys, you can't go wrong there. Try to not over cook your veggies.
If I were you I would try to draw up a meal plan. If you need a quick fix try the veggie dogs and burgers. Many of them are close approximations to meat.
Again I believe the more whole foods you eat that are cooked less at lower temps the healthier you will feel and the less likely you will even want to return to your previous omnivore diet.

Ha, that's quite a good deal!
Being veggie for just a month shouldn't be that hard, but you might get tempted. Your body has reserves of essential vitamins and minerals, y'know, in case there was a famine or something, so you should be fine if it's for just a month, considering you won't be getting no nutrients, just not as much or as many. Similarly, although you don't store protein, you should be fine as long as you get some of the types you need (you can get some types from nuts and beans). It would still be best to keep a wide range of vegetables in your diet though.
Good luck, although I think it's ironic how a steak can be seen as a forfeit.

It would never hurt to take a general multi-vitamin. If your a constant vegetarian you probably have to watch your diet closely to make sure you get everything you need. Especially children who are still growing. I would imagine protein, the big thing in meat, is what you would have to watch out for but nuts would halp out with this as well as eggs-if your diet involves eggs. Be sure he means vegetarian and not vegan. Vegan's eat no meat-based items at all and you would be surprised what foods have some meat product or by-product. For instance my brother-in-law, who is vegan, would not eat this wonderful mushroom soup I made because the base of the soup is made from chicken broth.

sucker. your friend was looking for a guilt free way to eat a steak! but seriously, the fact is, you probably need to be taking vitamins on your regular diet..maybe even more so, if you don't eat that many vegetables (fresh ones) on a daily basis. most people are vitamin deficient because of the lack of variety in fresh fruits and vegetables. summer is the best time to be a vegetarian with all the fresh stuff out there, even stuff you can grill. enjoy!

Why stop at a month? And you cant force your friend to eat steak. Not only is it mean, but if they've been a vegetarian for awhile thier body will have lost the enzymes to cope with meat and they will either get sick or throw it up. My sister acidentally ate some pork and was sick for two days throwing up.

If you get all your proper fruits and veggies you don't need to take vitamins at all, I never do. I f you don't you'll have to take vitamins, it doesn't matter how long you do it for.
I gotta say I don't think it would be fair for you to take vitamins, that would make you a pill popper not a vegetarian.

Hmmm. Even if you win, maybe make him eat chicken or egg salad instead of a steak. Beef can make a person who doesn't eat it regularly very sick.
