It's a resin identification code, it states the type of plastic the thingy is made of, and its recycling properties

the recycling sign will have a number inside of it, for quick identification of what resin it is made of. I have worked in the plastics industry for many years and have never saw a symbol with “no” written in it. It could be an imported product because different countries use different symbols.
