1930s Manhattan Cocktail, Dry

1 oz Rye or Irish whiskey
1/2 oz Italian sweet vermouth
2 dashes Angostura bitters
cherry
lemon twist

In a shaker filled with ice, combine liquids and stir. Strain and serve in a glass with a cherry and add a lemon twist.

Fuzzy Navel - 1 oz vodka 1oz peach schnapps over ice fill cocktail glass with orange juice.

dry rob roy - 1 oz scotch over ice with a splash of dry vermouth (the less vermouth - the dryer it is) you can rub a piece of lemon peel on the rim and drop it in the glass
