Doctors with HIV should be able to practice medicine. You have to understand that HIV positive people are less of a threat, health wise, to us than what we are to them. If we have the flu or anything like that we can give it to them and they could progress to AIDS....
Also when doctors operate or when they need to touch a patient they wear gloves, scrubs, masks, and or hats.... These things are meant to protect both the doctor from whatever the patient might have but most of all, the patient from what the doctor might have.

Yes, They are not at risk of passing any body fluids to their patients, patients are more likely to do this than a doctor

i think not. maybe if they're just doing the check up's and whatnot. As long as they don't have to actually give anybody a shot or do anything that could risk them poking themselves and bleeding. Cuzz that's just spreading HIV when we're trying to prevent that

Why not? As long as they use protective clothing/gear when necessary I can't see any risk greater than a public restroom presents which is little to none.

no--the reason is obvious.....it could be transmitted to the patient--why when you go to the dentist for example...do they want to know if YOU have HIV??? Because they don't want to get it. Why can't I make the dentist tell me if HE has it so I don't get it????
