Morningstar Farms makes meatless chicken niggets, burgers, etc. Because after a month of not eating meat, you could get sick if you eat meat, so it's good to already be eating meat-like products, to avoid getting sick.

Try eating in a lot as many restaurants have limited items for vegetarians. My first suggestion is trying stirfrys. They are easy to make. Just cook rice, fry up any veggies, add tofu soy sauce and any spices that sound good like curry, ginger, etc.

Another easy dish is to boil pasta and put in towards the end veggies like broccoli, spinach, zucchini, and of course tofu if you feel you need the extra protein.

One more easy dish is pita pizzas. All you need is to put tomato sauce, veggies, and cheese & or cheese substitute, put it in the oven at 300 or so for about 15 minutes and wallah.

As far as supplements go I suggest spirulina as it is a complete protein and is high in iron and B12, two vitamins most vegetarians have problems getting enough of.

If you need any more help feel free to contact me. Best of wishes and god bless you as you are doing something not only good for your health if done properly, but also you are helping to alleviate unnecessary suffering.

Try to ensure you are eating protein. You're body will need the protein that you miss. You will also need to be taking a multivitamin to help compensate for some of the nutrients that you may not get from the vegies and fruits alone.

I recommend that you eat portebello mushrooms, grilled, on a bun if you crave a hamburger; it will provide the meaty taste. You also want to try various types of food, like vegeterian sushi and such. Don't think all you can eat is salade, there's much more out there. Have fun, I wish you the best of luck.

Good for you for trying this. It is kind of like Daniels diet in the Bible, Grains, veggies water. Make sure you take a vitamin supplement. As your body will need to get use to this. Meats have unhealthy things in them these days, I should do the same as you. lol You will find you will be healthier for it and live longer

Surround yourself with people that are going to support you and not make fun of you.. The only way you will find out if veganism is for you is to try it out for some time. Your body has to get used to all the nutrients it is going to be losing.
I also recommend that you speak with your doctor, you need to know how to get all those nutrients back in your body that you are about to lose..
