Your probably talking about glucose level...
Normal ranges around 100 or so fasting, can go as much as 120-130 after eating. 33, seriously, is considered a coma level, you risk slipping into whats called a "diabetic coma" so if your levels drop any below 50, Id be eating something quickly, something with alot of sugar or carbohydrates.
Suggestion: go to your doctor and have whats called a glucose tolerance test done. that would help weed out whether your just hypoglycemic or if your getting close to full blown diabetes.
Dont fool around with this, its serious, and it can kill you. Dont mean to scare you, but its true...

Normal is less than 100 upon waking and all of the day, except for after meals when 140 or less is good.
A level of 33 means is near coma and requires sugar (glucose) immediately.
If the person with a 33 feels fine there must be a malfunction in the testing unit, and most companies will replace an broken unit for free.

Generally, insulin is not what is measured in diabetes. What is measured is the sugar (glucose) level in your blood. When you have not had anything to eat (or any drinks that contain calories) within the past 8 hours, the test is called a fasting blood glucose. The normal results is between 70 and 99. A fasting blood glucose of 33 would be extremely low, and I would expect the person to be having symptoms of low blood sugar--confusion, drowsiness or unconsciousness, with skin that is cool, pale and sweaty.

When you have repeated low blood sugars such as a 33 your body may show no symptoms, my son doesn't always have symptoms. You need a doctor ASAP because a non diabetic should be between 70-120 fasting. Low can kill and do damage to you just like highs.

Normal would be between 65 and 120 in most situations. 33 is dangerously low....your brain has to have sugar to function so a blood sugar that low means that your brain is suffering. Sugar should be taken ASAP...drink a glass of milk, eat some crackers.

Do you mean Blood Glucose (BG) level or INSULIN level? if BG, should be 70 - 110 fasting; < 140 2 hrs after a meal; never greater than 200. iF you mean insulin, then - I don't know; google it.
