Wow, for Lotusrain being a nurse, she is HIGHLY misinformed about the herpes virus. There are ONLY 8 different kinds, not 100 thousand like she said.

Maybe she is thinking of HPV, and even then, there are about 100 different kinds not 100 thousand! Geez!

There are many STDs you can get from just foreplay. A lot of STDs can be spread by just skin to skin contact and oral sex. Herpes, HPV, HIV, syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, crabs, etc can all be spread by either skin to skin contact, oral sex, or both!

Yes , there are a number of STD's that a person can get from foreplay depending on what you are doing where. Herpes has 100 thousand strains and is very infectious, can be caught anywhere from an active blister and sometimes even when it appears inactive as sometimes in a persons vaginal canal or on the outside of the uterus can not be seen. Also in men sometimes the infection is so mild they might not know they have it, but can still pass it on. It may be seen as a mild irritation of the penis. for some depending on the immune system it is a very painful disease for the rest of their life. Herpes also makes you get HIV easier. Genital warts. Gonnerhea of the throat, these are just some of the STD's you can get without acually having intercourse. Take protection at all times, unless you have both been tested and are clean of all diseases. Easy enough to go to a doctor get an RPR test, HIV test and check for other things like genital warts in an exam. Good Luck!

Yes you can get an STD from foreplay alone and unfortunately the only real protection from STD's is abstinence until marriage and this goes for both partners, since there are STD's that men are not rountinely tested for such as HPV.

absolutely! you are able to get any sort of std thru mutual masturbation, and even kissing. the only safe way to foreplay is whenever going near a private area, have a condom whenever anything is going to be inserted anywhere(if you know what i mean) and don't let any fluid come in contact with any part of your genitals

HPV is spread from skin to skin contact; therefore, theoretically speaking, you can become infected w/ a strain of the virus thru a handshake
