A vegetarian doesn't eat meat, but eats things that have
both eggs and dairy.

A vegan is a vegetarian that will not eat or use any animal products: no eggs, no dairy, no honey... only things that are from plants and animals didn't make. They also won't wear wool or use any product that has bi-products in it that come from animals... basically everything from soap to clothes to food has to be simply plant-based.

Everything an omnivore eats only subtract the meat. We eat pasta, bread, vegetables, fruits, grains, legumes, ice cream, cake, rice, soy, lasagna, ravioli, sloppy joes, burgers, hot dogs, we even have "turkey" dinners at thanksgiving time. We just use a substitute for the meat.

Vegans also eat lasagna, ravioli, etc, they may just substitute the ricotta cheese for mashed tofu that's been seasoned to taste like ricotta (It's not half bad either) They also have soy ice cream, vegan cake, etc.

You just have to think of it as different ingredients to come to about the same recipe.

There are different types of vegetarians. Some don't eat any type of animal product, including dairy, some eat anything except meat, some will eat dairy products, others don't. It depends on what type someone is.

People are assinine! So ridiculous! Mostly salads and fake bacon bits! MAN! Veggies and tofu! Oh my GAWD!

Vegetarians eat vegetables, duh, that's why they're called vegetarian! As in a mostly vegetable based diet. But the diet also includes fruits, beans, peas, tubers, grains, some will eat dairy, some won't.....if it grows, it's eatable.
