Anything is possible. It all depends on the number of times you've been treated in the past year with doctor and er visits as well as how many hospital stays you've had and if it has affected your work by missing days because of it. Good luck

Asthma is still a form of COPD. It obstructs your breathing. You will however need your doctor to fill out paperwork stating that he feels you will be unable to work for at least a year because of this problem. It will probably take 3-4 months to actually receive payment from that point. If they are unsure as to whether your doctors opinion is accurate, they may have you see one of their doctors too. good luck.

Probably. The Soc Sec. office will want documentation about your level of physical activity adn what you are able to do. If the end result is the same -- you can't work b/c you get too winded and have respiratory distress or resp. arrest -- then you probably will still qualify.
