I got tested recently, and they only tested me for a few certain VD's. How can I be absolutely certain that I am disease free?

A lot of STDs have no symptoms, or take months and even years to see any signs of the STD. There is no test for HPV for men, so men usually don't know they have it unless they develop genital warts from it. I have had HPV for over 5 years now and it wasn't until 7 months ago I developed genital warts. It took 4 and 1/2 years to see any symptoms of the virus!

Pretty much all diseases except for herpes has no symptoms most times. The only way to know for sure is if you were tested for all of them and not just some of them. Doctors sometimes only test for certain diseases and if you have those, then they will test for others, but that's kind of stupid to me.

You can't unless they test you for EVERYTHING.... many STD's have no symptoms.
