First, which side of the Atlantic Ocean do you live on? If you're on the East side, then 5.1 may be right. I'm not familiar with euro levels and it's equivalent US BG level. If you're on the West side, then you are talking about your HbA1c, right. An A1c of 5 if great, diabetic or non-diabetic.
If you have the "thirst" and drink lots of fluids and consequently have to go urinate frequently, then you should consider seeing your doctor. That's the first indication that you have high blood sugar levels and your body is attempting to fight it by flushing off the excessive sugars. The thirst is overwelmimg. Happened to me and it's not pretty. I got tested and found out I had Type 2 diabetes. That was 12-13 years ago.

There are many symptoms for diabetes besides frequent urination. Do you feel like you have the flu all the time? Do you have frequent headaches and upset stomach? Sounds like you could have a urinary tract infection, a overactive bladder or something in that area and you may not be emtying your bladder completely. Try leaning forward when you urinate it helps empty the bladder a HbA1c of 5.1 is excellent!!!!! for a non diabetic.

If I recall hemoglobin A1C of 5-6 is within normal range and would not indicate diabetes in the slightest at 5.1

If you mean 5.1 mmol/L, thats very normal Convert it by multiplying into 18 that gives 91.8mg/dL, which is very normal. ( normal range 80-120 for healthy people, or slightly above or below.) You do not have diabetes. If you mean the Hba1c test 5.1 is excellent!

When you say 5.1, do you mean a Hemoglobin A1c (3month avg) of 5.1%, or do you mean 5.1 mmol/L? If the latter, I do not know the conversion from mmol/L to mg/dL. If the earlier, 5.1 is nondiabetic; however, there are other causes for frequent urination, so I would suggest seeing your doctor.
