You need not to panic to visit a doctor. There are no Allopathic medicines available in the market that will cure the diabetic conditions of humans but they control the disorder up to certain levels. The disease is developed due to eating disorders and hereditary. In the first place, I have never accepted diabetes as disease but considered it to be a disorder. The medicine is readily available at home in the form of natural products and you need not to go to market to purchase expensive medicines. To keep the sugar level under control, follow my suggestions and see the difference. Drink the juice of one bitter gourd, one cucumber and one tomato on empty stomach in the morning on a regular basis (drink this juice twice a day if you are insulin dependent) until you start feeling relief and your blood sugar level starts decreasing and continue further for a very long time until your sugar level reaches border line. The sugar level will certainly come down. Eat plenty of cucumber before meal to quench your thrust and to fill your empty stomach. Cucumbers are considered and proved to be very good for diabetic patients. Diabetic patients are always hungry to eat but can not eat all. Avoid banana, mango, custard apple and sweets like ice cream, pastry and cold drinks totally. If you insulin dependent, even rice is very harmful. You can eat fruits like guava, pineapple, pomegranate, papaya, muskmelon and watermelon. Regular brisk walking for one hour daily would be the best ideal medicine for diabetic patients. Cut down on non-vegetarian, fast, spicy and oily food, aerated cold drinks and foods rich in calories. Correct constipation. Avoid alcohol and tobacco also. Tea and coffee are also bad for health. Drink plenty of water daily. Take one tablet of Diabecon (By Himalaya Herbal Health Care, India) twice a day as a maintenance dose. Take care and be in good health.

Hypoglycaemia means low blood sugar. It is rare in healthy people and usually present as a collapse or coma (since your body runs out of sugar and so can't sustain itself anymore).

Symptoms of diabetes are thirsty all the time, passing lots of urine, being generally very tired all the time and weight loss. If one presents with such symptoms then the doctor should perform a bedside glucose test. If your random sugar test is more then 11 then you are likely to be diabetic. The doctor can confirm this by doing a glucose tolerance test. However if your random sugar is fine a month ago it's unlikely that you have diabetes a month later (but never say never). Obviously there are 101 things that can also present with similar symptoms so if you are still not well go back to your doctor!

If you're too nervous to visit your doctor and are afraid of the possible results, try the following to convince yourself and your doctor. Go to any pharmacy and buy a blood glucose meter and it's associated test strips - just one addition package. Go home and test yourself. Simple and private. You should test you blood about two hours after meals. Then you will know one way or the other. Normal blood glucose is between 80 and 120, two hours after meals. If you should find your glucose levels below 80 consistently then you will know you have hypoglycemia and proof. Likewise, should your readings go higher that 140 consistently then you will know that you're diabetic. In either case, you will know for yourself and will be able to prove it to anyone.

Tell your doctor how you feel and ask for testing to definitely rule out you ideas. If you are Hypoglycemic which is not the same as diabetes. Diabetics either do not make insulin or what they do make is insufficient. Hypoglycemics make too much insulin. A HbA1c will help indicate it but not as accurate as a glucose tolerance test. If you have a test meter taking a blood test before meals and two hours after meals and writing down the results will give your doc an idea of what is going on. If your doc refuses to do the test then shop for a new doc because they are not taking you seriously. Endocrinologist specialize in this field alone not GP so I would flip the bill and see one. Always best to see the expert in the field.

You can't fool Doctors, all they have to do is take a very simple blood test when you have been fasting for 12 hours. That is a definitive diagnosis. If the tests are normal, then diabetes is not an issue. You don't mention what symptoms are so bad, but if the blood tests they took are normal, then those symptoms have to be attributed to something else.

High blood levels of glucose can cause several problems, including frequent urination, excessive thirst, hunger, fatigue, weight loss, and blurry vision. However, because type 2 diabetes develops slowly, some people with high blood sugar experience no symptoms at all. How to treat diabetes naturally https://tr.im/ZPtKr

Symptoms of type 1 diabetes:

Increased thirst
Increased urination
Weight loss in spite of increased appetite
Fatigue
Nausea
Vomiting

Patients with type 1 diabetes usually develop symptoms over a short period of time, and the condition is often diagnosed in an emergency setting.

Symptoms of type 2 diabetes:

Increased thirst
Increased urination
Increased appetite
Fatigue
Blurred vision
Slow-healing infections
Impotence in men

If you think you have diabetes i think you should have a checkup and speak with your doctor just in case.

Go to a different doctor who has not experienced your loonieness, lol, and get re-tested. And stay away from sugar and simple carbs. All carbos turn to sugar in you system but the simple one do it quickly and cause insulin spikes. Complex carbs change slowly and do not give you the wide swings.

Do a Google search for "Glycemic Index," and you will find books that will help you with diet changes to avoid the spikes.

I really can't imagine them minding you coming back over and over though, they get to charge you for the office visit and for the test each time.

I heard that eating 1 tablespoon of cinnamon every day will prevent type II diabetes. I would do that as soon as possible.

Edit and I heard this from a doctor herself.

not such a weird question here. i kept telling my doctor that i was having problems with my blood sugar....going high, going low....but everytime i would have a test done with him, my sugar was normal. finally i went for routine blood work at the hospital, ordered by my obgyn...and it was 400 at that point.
do you have access to any of the home testing machines that check your sugar? if not, i would invest in one. they have a memory on them, so you can store your results. check your blood sugar when you feel like your sugar is either high or low. if you are having problems, then you can share this information with your physician.

If the test are normal, you don't have it. Take another test if you aren't convinced by the first one.
