Where did HIV come from?
Where is it from?
And if it was started puposely by people, why'd they do it?

Saw this on the Discovery Channel a couple of years ago. It was started in Africa by monkey's, and has been traced far back as 1937. While travel to this area was remote it didn't really start showing up until people started traveling more.
People in Africa eat Monkey's - this is a virus that they get so it was easy transmittable.
I was getting kinda queasy so I turned off the T.V.

It wasn't purposely...I don't think.
What I have heard from my mother is the following:
The disease is from monkeys that had sex. The monkeys were eaten by humans so therefore the disease got into their body. But...the disease can only be transmitted from human to human right? Well. If you eat an animal or bug that's infected you could get infected, but if you just touch the animal, nothing's going to happen to you. The way that aids is transmitted from Human to Human is by blood. So during sex, cleaning up someone's wound. So getting infected blood in your body is how you can get it.
I read one of your other topics and I think that I answered it, but more than likely your friend got infected from sex. If she was licking and sucking her partner's area, that's a huge risk and even touching the area can make it start bleeding and immediately give you aids.

HIV started from Gay Monkeys. God got mad that so many gay monkeys were running around gaying it up that he gave them AIDS. Then after God made one of the Gay Monkeys evolve, that person had sex with a Junky and that's the story of AIDS. See? It's not really a sad story. You've got God, and monkeys and all sorts of fun times.

My mother told me noone really heard much about it until the 60's when people started sharing needles and gay men we're getting it
