I've never seen a Japanese restaurant, but I bet they're just as creative.

I haven't tried Chinese food made in the US yet. I'm in central England. During a quick stay in the US, I once tried some mexican-type food, at a place called Taco Bell. I think that's what it was called. That was alright.
But my local Chinese restaurant cooks some amazing things. And it's done by Chinese people.
I discovered a thing called crispy shredded chicken. And also, bacon and chicken foo yung. And if you've got the patience, or are ravenous enough, to stand next to a chef while they sizzle up a fresh steak at your request, while you wait, that's a bonus.
I think I'm hooked!

Oh, well then I guess I've never tried Mexican food if Taco Bell isn't authentic.
Does anyone know any good places to try proper Mexican food?

The hotter and spicier, the better.
